Business Development Manager – Adhesives – Ref 2311

We have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join one of the leading suppliers of industrial adhesives, used in woodworking and furniture manufacture, in the paper and packaging industry, for graphic arts, in the textile, automotive as well as in the electrical industry. The purpose of this role will be to protect and support existing customers, develop new business in line with the agreed business plan and achieve sales and gross profit targets for the relevant period. 

Responsibilities:
•    Customer visits in the allocated sales territory/market sectors
•    Product recommendations, demonstrations and trials
•    Price quotation in conjunction with the Sales Manager
•    After sales service including dealing with customer complaints
•    Adhere to Health and safety policies and rules

Requirements: 
•    Experience in a B2B commercial setting in a similar industry (e.g coatings) is essential
•    Able to communicate confidently and effectively with customers 
•    High energy and strong determination
